Dating and the Search for the Perfect Coffee
Maybe I’m the only one, but it’s rare to have a good cup of coffee when I’m out in the world. I can make the coffee to my liking when I’m at home. When I visit my dad, the coffee is even better. There’s something about the quality of the coffee and the balance of creamer and sweetener. I’ve been to Italy and France and many places around the world that boast the best coffee in the world, but it’s never been quite right for me. Gosh, the last time I had a great cup of coffee was in a small town in Crete, Greece a few months ago.
Then there is dating and finding the right fit. The older we get, the more focused we are on finding “the one.” Like finding the perfect cup of coffee out in the wild, finding the kind of enduring love that goes beyond physical beauty and chemistry, is something that is rare. How often have you met someone who had all of the “right” external qualities that you place high value on, but when you dove deeper into the connection, there was something missing?
So, let’s begin our quest for the perfect coffee relationship, shall we?
