5 Ways to a Enjoy a Guilt-Free Relaxing Day

I’m sitting here recovering from a weeklong illness and on day seven, I’m anxious that I’ve missed so much work that it’ll take me forever to catch up. Even on the first day after I fell ill with tissues stuck up my nose and watery eyes, I was determined to finish an assignment for an online course.

It didn’t occur to me to simply message my instructor and let him know that my assignment would be late. All this because I want my creative project to one day take flight, but I have to remind myself at what cost? And not allowing the Universe to reassure me that all is well and on track. I’ll not miss my blessings.

As I write this article, I’m thinking about my to-do list, but I’ve committed to making this day a relaxation day (I’m a Capricorn work horse and I have a lot of Virgo in my astrological chart). This is unusual for me because I’m a high achiever. I’d write more articles here if I had more hours in the day, but alas, I must share my hours in the week with work, my creative projects and my continuing education.
