Don’t listen to all of the noise. Listen to your soul.

April 8, 2024 in North America marks a total solar eclipse that can be seen across several U.S. states, Mexico and Canada. Other areas will experience partial viewing of the eclipse. (Check out this nifty map and tool to see what’ll be visible in your area).

People are assigning all types of meaning to these eclipses. Some religious people are claiming rapture-like activations and scientists are preaching viewing the eclipse safely (which you should!). Astrologers are explaining how the eclipse impacts each zodiac sign, and even predicting catastrophic events surrounding the eclipse. None, some, or all of these things may be true, but what’s important is that you should listen to yourself and what you’re being called to believe is true.

A few incidents have factually happened around recent eclipses in the last six months. A week before the annular eclipse on October 14, 2023, a terror attack on Israel sparked a war between the country and Hamas. A day after the lunar eclipse on March 25, the Baltimore bridge collapsed, and leading up to the April 8 solar eclipse, more than one earthquake shook Taiwan and New York.
